Because Resource Room is a full-service learning center, families can access far more than subject tutoring in one trusted place.
Sessions run 30, 45, or 60 minutes, depending on your student's age, needs, and area of focus. We'll set the right length during your consultation.
How often will my student meet with their tutor?
Frequency depends on your student's age, focus area, and how many subjects they're working on. We'll build the right schedule together during your consultation.
How fast can we start?
Most new students start within one week of signing up.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Packages start at a 5-hour base and scale up to monthly and yearly plans, so you can start small and build from there as needs change.
What if the tutor match isn't the right fit?
If the connection isn't right, or if your student's subjects or situation change, we'll re-match at no additional cost. The right fit matters more than filling a slot.
Do you offer online or virtual tutoring, or only in-person?
In-person is our preferred format for the strongest connection and engagement, but we also offer virtual and hybrid options when that's the better fit for your family.
Do you coordinate with my child's school or IEP team?
Yes. Resource Room is founded and run by career educators, including licensed special education teachers, and we can coordinate with your student's school team or IEP or 504 plan when helpful. We also offer dedicated IEP and 504 advocacy as its own program.
