Joe and Sam, a husband and wife team, each have over a decade of classroom experience, are duly licensed, and hold multiple graduate degrees.

Homework doesn’t have to turn into a nightly battle. At The Resource Room, our Homework Help sessions go beyond simply getting assignments done. We help students understand the material, organize what needs to be completed, manage their time, stay focused, and build the executive functioning skills that support long-term independence. Whether your child feels overwhelmed, rushes through assignments, struggles with attention, or needs help navigating online school platforms, we provide patient, personalized support that helps make schoolwork feel more manageable.

Pathways Academy is more than a smaller high school—it is a different kind of school experience. We intentionally blend academics, executive functioning, social-emotional growth, and real-world learning throughout the entire day. With small cohorts, experienced educators, project-based learning, and access to the full Resource Room support system, students are supported not only as learners, but as individuals. At Pathways, students build the skills, confidence, independence, and resilience they need for school—and for what comes next.

Our students who took the SAT twice, back to back in August and September, gained an average of 260 points from where they started. Eight students tested twice. All eight went up again on the second test. Across our whole summer group of 18 students: Every one improved. 12 finished at 1300 or higher. 3 finished at 1400 or higher. A 1300 beats 87 out of 100 test takers nationwide. You do not need a 1500 to stand out anymore. Our approach is simple. Test more than once, test back to back, and never stop the momentum.
